About Our Teddy Leather
Teddy is a vegetable-tanned cow leather in a rich, dark brown shade with a velvety, matte finish. It has a soft hand feel and a naturally cozy aesthetic, while still offering enough structure to hold its shape beautifully.

Although smooth to the touch, Teddy leans on the stiffer side, making it ideal for structured covers and accessories. As a vegetable-tanned leather, it will age gracefully, developing a warm patina over time — darkening and deepening with use.

When dealing with leather, it's important to remember that leather is derived from animals that have lived outdoors. This origin might result in inherent characteristics such as natural marks (like bug bites, wrinkles, scars, etc.) and variations in appearance (stripes, marbling, uneven coloring) on each piece. While we take care in arranging these features thoughtfully, it's crucial to recognize that these natural attributes are not indicative of defects. We deliberately preserve these original markings to uphold the integrity of the leather, ensuring that each piece remains distinct and unique.
